The Town is working on road safety issues as part of its Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan. The Town also works with the Cottesloe Hotel and the Ocean Beach Hotel to reduce the incidence of drink driving and anti-social behaviour in the Town.
Speed display trailer
The Town uses an electronic speed display trailer that indicates to a driver the speed at which they are travelling and provides visual feedback, for example “well done” or “slow down” to reduce travel speeds in the local area.
