Education of young drivers within the community.

Targeted promotion of road safety in the football season.

Cop-it-Sweet bike safety awards.

Know your car community workshop.

Ongoing promotion of the major contributing factors to road crashes in WA (drink driving, speeding, non use of seatbelts and restraints and fatigue) at events throughout the year including Blessing of the Roads, Bridgetown Blues and the Blackwood Marathon.

Bridgetown Mystery Tour - educating young drivers

The committee coordinate a Mystery Tour of Life for Bridgetown High School students. This involves education of risk taking behaviour, and the potential road trauma consequences that may arise from these decisions. Student are taken on a tour of a simulated crash with St John Ambulance and Fire and Rescue staff demonstrating their role in a road crash situation, and then follow on to the emergency room at the hospital. The tour is finished with a presentation from guest speakers who’s lives have been affected by road trauma.
