Bindoon's 'Wear Ya Wellies' Event Reminds Visitors to Slow Down and Enjoy the Ride

Chittering Farmer’s Market and a range of other attractions were on hand, and the mud for the kids’ mosh-pit had to be manufactured because the skies were clear!

WALGA's RoadWise Road Safety Advisor, Cliff Simpson and School Drug Education and Road Aware (SDERA) consultant Rose Power were on hand at a road safety display.  A 'Slow Down and Enjoy the Ride' quiz, which formed part of the display, was won by Gingin resident Susie Dale.

The Shire of Chittering received a Government of Western Australia Community Road Safety Grant for this event, and SDERA’s Izzy the Lizard put in an appearance to engage with our youngest road users.
