Towing Safely in the Gascoyne

Posted on: Tuesday, 18 July 2017 at 12:00:00 AM

At the one of the Twilight Markets in Carnarvon, committee members were approached by the Coral Coast Caravan Park and asked if they could come and present on the ‘do’s and don’ts of towing’. The committee thought this was a great initiative and developed a presentation which was delivered to guests at the Caravan Park.

Topics included safe driving, safe loads and fatigue management with a key objective being to contribute to the reduction of rollovers and crashes on country roads.

The presentation was well received and a networking session, accompanied by some expertly cooked sausages, provided the opportunity for further road safety discussions.

The committee is now refining the presentation to include feedback provided, and will provide other caravan parks the opportunity to host the presentation for their guests.
