Working Together at the Mingenew Expo

A questionnaire was conducted to engage drivers and pedestrians, asking what they can and will do to help address road safety issues in their community. An unsecured load quiz also formed part of the promotions.

There were 177 entries in the ‘What will you do to help reduce the road toll’ questionnaire (with 367 response comments) and an additional 71 entries for the unsecured loads quiz.

Speed, seatbelts, fatigue, distraction and avoiding driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs were recognised as the major areas people wish to address in order to improve road safety in their community.
