Promoting Restraint Use at the Northam Balloon Fiesta

Posted on: Thursday, 28 September 2017 at 12:00:00 AM

More than 11,000 people attended the event, which also received significant statewide media coverage.

The Committee promoted seatbelt and car child restraint use with a quiz included as part of the festivities. School Drug Education and Road Aware's (SDERA) mascot Izzy the Lizard entertained the crowd as much as the balloons and the band, and even features in the SkyworksWA promotional video (www.facebook.com/SkyworksWA/videos/vb.531455823586116/1506511499413872/?type=2&theater).
