Drivers and car enthusiasts took the opportunity to sign up for the City of Greater Geraldton RoadWise Committee's "no phone whilst driving" challenge, committing to turn off their mobile phones before driving and receiving 'Bag it Up' pouch for their phones.
A Show and Shine event held on the foreshore of Port Denison, provided another opportunity to combine a love of vintage cars with important road safety messages.

The Shire of Irwin RoadWise Committee organised several quizzes and provided information to attendees about the importance of slowing down. Many enthusiasts braved the inclement weather, ensuring the event’s great attendance.
