New Type 1 Child Car Restraint Course in Albany

Posted on: Thursday, 26 October 2017 at 12:00:00 AM

Course participants become part of a statewide network of qualified Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitters and will gain the knowledge and skills to competently check and fit child car restraints, as well as provide information and advice about child car restraints to parents and caregivers.

All participants are required to have a minimum of $10 million Public Liability Insurance, with preference given to individuals intending to offer a fitting service to the community, and in areas where there are a limited number of Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitters.

Current Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitters can register their interest to attend a course as a refresher.

Registrations for the Albany course close on 1 November.

For more information or to register your interest in the Albany course, please email Road Safety Project Officer, Tammie Deshon; tdeshon@walga.asn.au
