Taking Action Against Distraction at the Albany Show

The Albany RoadWise Committee focused on the issue of distraction with activities for young and old at the RoadWise stall at the 2017 Albany Show.

Visitors could sign a pledge identifying ways they could reduce distractions in their vehicle. Children could colour a road safety message as part of the promotions.

The Committee also ran an activity which simulated the mental burden of driving and the associated dangers of distracted driving.
