Courtesy Speed Display Signs Remind Drivers to Slow Down in the City of Rockingham

The City of Rockingham is using the WALGA RoadWise courtesy speed display signs to remind drivers to slow down at strategically chosen sites.

Using data from Main Roads WA, City of Rockingham staff have selected sites where crashes have occurred and speed has been of concern. As part of a wider strategy, the courtesy speed display signs have been deployed throughout February to reduce travel speeds at these sites.

City staff are currently working on other programs in conjunction with the City of Rockingham RoadWise Advisory Committee, to improve road safety outcomes in the community.
