Blessing of the Roads Campaign Wrap Up

WALGA’s RoadWise has thanked the Local Governments, RoadWise Committees, communities and individuals involved in this year’s Blessing of the Roads campaign.

Blessing of the Roads events were held in the lead up to and during the Easter long weekend to remind everyone that by working together, we can achieve the long-term vision of zero fatalities and serious injuries on our roads.

Local events were held in Waikiki, Bidyadanga, Dowerin, Kalgoorlie, Mandurah, New Norcia, Moore, Collie, Manjimup, Tom Price, Pingelly, Wanneroo, Bridgetown-Greenbushes and a combined Joondalup/Swan/Stirling event held in Sorrento.

In addition to local events, Local Governments and other members of the RoadWise road safety network supported the Blessing of the Roads campaign through community displays, newsletter articles, media releases and social media promotion of the "zero is achievable" message.

It was fantastic to see the campaign supported in all corners of the State, by diverse groups and in a variety of different ways.
