Promoting Child Car Restraint Use at the Grand Families Day in Bunbury

Posted on: Tuesday, 22 May 2018 at 12:00:00 AM

The popular event at the Big Swamp Wildlife Park attracted more than 3000 grandparents, parents, carers and children.

Seatbelt and child car restraint use was promoted, with more than 300 of the very popular “belt up” yellow car stress balls given out to those who came to find out more information at the display.

Children also participated in road safety themed colouring in and learnings about road safety on the SDERA Smart Steps road safety play mat.

Grandparents, parents and carers received information about Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitters in the South West region and the child car restraint fitting information line (1300 780 713).
