City of Wanneroo Driver Reviver Reminds Drivers – Don’t Trust Your Tired Self

The City of Wanneroo Driver Reviver continues to help drivers prevent the onset of fatigue during long weekends by providing a place to stop for a break along Indian Ocean Drive.

Members of the City of Wanneroo RoadWise Committee ran the Driver Reviver site and provided a much-needed break for drivers travelling the long stretch of road and returning home during both the Easter long weekend and the Labour Day long weekend.

More than 390 visitors stopped for a cup of tea or coffee, a biscuit, and a break to help fight fatigue and get home safely.

Driving for a long period of time is seen as one of the key causes of fatigue-related trauma. Driver Reviver sites assist with providing drivers with a break to help reduce the risk of fatigue-related incidences.
