Is Your Local Government Nominating a Road Safety Project for a Local Government Road Safety Award?

Nominations for the 2018 Local Government Road Safety Awards are now open.

This year, the Awards aim to acknowledge the work Local Governments are doing to contribute to creating a safe system through the following categories:

  • Safe System Approach – Road Infrastructure Improvements.
  • Safe System Approach – Complementary Initiatives
  • Safe System Approach – Local Road Safety Partnerships
  • Joe North Award – for an individual’s outstanding contribution to community road safety

A joint initiative between WALGA’s RoadWise and the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia WA, we are encouraging Local Governments to nominate for a chance to show WA your efforts in working towards creating a safe system.

Nominations close 5:00pm Friday, 27 July. For more information visit the RoadWise website www.roadwise.asn.au/local-government-road-safety-awards.aspx
