The Gosnells RoadWise Committee and the Community - Working Together Towards Zero Deaths and Serious Injuries

The City of Gosnells is looking to increase community participation in road safety with the long standing RoadWise Committee moving to the Community Engagement area as a working group.

The group will be working to increase road safety awareness and engagement in the community in a shared responsibility approach.

At events, volunteers will be running interactive activities aimed at increasing knowledge and to encourage commitment to improve road safety within the City.

Activities such as the Zero Excuses pledge (https://zeroexcuses.com.au), and the Constable Care Arility App (http://www.dsbsgroup.com/arility/), are being considered. Long standing activities such as the World Day of Remembrance and the Road Safety Art Competition will remain on the City's event calendar.

A new banner promoting the long-term goal of zero deaths and serious injuries has been produced and other merchandise is being developed to support community engagement activities.
