Driver Reviver Volunteers Turning Ordinary Rest Stops into a Must Stop

With many Driver Reviver’s operating in the lead up to and during the Queen’s Birthday long weekend this month, drivers are being encouraged to pop in for a free cup of tea or coffee, a bickie and some good old fashioned conversation.
Driver Reviver is a community initiative operated nationally by volunteers which aims to reduce fatigue relates crashes by providing travellers with a friendly place to stop and take a break.
Did you know?
During the 2016-17 financial year, 21 known Driver Reviver sites ran for a total of 189 hours, over 32 days, with 159 volunteers serving 2311 travellers.
