Hundreds of people attended the event which provided a range of activities, entertainment and information targeting seniors and encouraging increased physical and mental participation in activities.
The Beachcombers Angling & Boating Club of WA held a stall at the event promoting a range of topics and awareness activities, with a focus on road safety.
Club Secretary John Crompton promoted the road safety messages in partnership with information provided by the Beachcombers Angling & Boating Club.
John said “There are sometimes very long distances we have to drive with the fishing clubs, and many times I have felt very tired at the wheel.
"I have been promoting the don't drive tired message for five years as I believe it’s a very important message for the community. If you’re feeling tired, have a break, don’t trust your tired self,” he said.
