Katanning residents and visitors were reminded of important of road safety messages in the lead up to Christmas with a multi-agency RBT.

Katanning Police coordinated the event and were supported by the Katanning RoadWise Committee, local Department of Fire and Emergency Service and St John Ambulance personnel. Most people involved were community volunteers who gave their time to share the road safety message prior to Christmas.

In the short time they were operating 106 vehicles were stopped and drivers and passengers spoken to about holiday road safety issues, with ribbons from the Road Ribbons for Road Safety® campaign also handed out.
