Denmark RoadWise Committee's Sober Super Hero Campaign Wraps for Another Year
The Shire of Denmark RoadWise Committee’s Sober Super Hero campaign results are in and huge congratulations is extended to everyone involved.
Over the past six months the Committee, in partnership with Denmark Police, has been recognising and rewarding Sober Super Heroes and their passengers for making good choices around alcohol and driving.
The campaign aimed to recognise drivers who returned a 0.00 blood alcohol concentration (BAC) and passengers who chose a sober driver - encouraging the community to work together to contribute to road safety.
With no fatal crashes recorded over the period of the campaign, the Committee is proud to see the community get behind this campaign and show that by working together, we can work towards zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads.
The Denmark RoadWise Committee would like to thank local businesses who contributed to the campaign, including Denmark Community Resource Centre, Mrs Jones, BP Service Station Sasdens, Thornton’s Hardware, and Country Tools and Auto Supplies.
