Esperance Emergency Services Day

Members of the Esperance RoadWise Committee attended the Esperance Emergency Services Day on Saturday, 16 September, along with representatives from the WA Police Force, State Emergency Service (SES), St John Ambulance, Department of Fire and Emergency Services, Department of Transport, Marine Rescue Services and Road Trauma Support WA.

The Towards Zero Road Safety Display Trailer was on site with information for families about child car restraints and road user behaviours. Road Trauma Support WA joined forces with the RoadWise display, sharing information about road trauma support.

Excellent weather provided a wonderful opportunity for families to see the emergency services in action and have the chance to speak with staff and volunteers working in these areas.

Members of community chatted with local police and RoadWise Committee members and were able to have their road safety questions answered.
