World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

Posted on: Monday, 26 November 2018 at 12:00:00 AM

Sunday, 18 November was a day dedicated to remembering those who have died or been seriously injured in a road crash.

In support of this day, WALGA's RoadWise launched the annual Road Ribbon for Road Safety® campaign to enable people to directly contribute to road safety over the Christmas / New Year holiday period.

Communities around the state are getting involved by distributing free road ribbons, hosting events, erecting displays and sharing road safety messages in an effort to engage individuals in recognising that no one should die or be seriously injured on our roads.

If you would like to get involved in the campaign, or to find out where you can get a free road ribbon, visit the RoadWise website; https://www.roadwise.asn.au/road-ribbon-for-road-safety.aspx.
