How Safe is the Caravan?

The City of Wanneroo RoadWise Working Group was asking this question of the community in the lead up to the Easter weekend, ANZAC Day and the school holidays.
The RoadWise Working Group conducted a free caravan checking day at the City of Wanneroo's depot, checking the safety of resident's caravans before they set off on their holiday adventures.
The City of Wanneroo worked with volunteer mechanics from local businesses and conducted about 30 road safety checks on caravans during the day, checking things like condition of tyres, breaks, connections and tow hitch chains or shackles.
Ensuring your vehicle and caravan or trailer is in good condition and safe to tow reduces the risks of road incidences and gets you to your destination (and back) safely.
