Sharing Western Australian Local Government Experiences in Road Safety

Rural and remote road safety and Local Government leadership in road safety were two of the topics up for discussion at the Australasian Road Safety Conference, held in Adelaide during September.

Manager of the WALGA RoadWise Program, Terri-Anne Pettet participated in a Rural and Remote Road Safety Symposium and delivered two presentations.

One presentation, titled 'Half way to zero!', focused on the need to partner with Local Governments to get to zero and shared insights into how WALGA's RoadWise is working with regional Local Governments and communities to take action for road safety.

The two WALGA RoadWise presentations delivered at the conference will soon be presented as part of the WALGA RoadWise Workshop Series, with Local Governments and members of the road safety network invited to attend. Details will be made available soon.
