The City of Bunbury RoadWise Committee participated in the Live Lighter Seniors Activity and Information Day during September at the South West Italian Club.

The display included a range of information and resources to encourage community engagement and discussion around working to prevent road trauma.

'Please Slow Down, Consider Our Kids' bin stickers from the City of Bunbury, Shire of Dardanup and Shire of Harvey were available at the event, encouraging community members to take action to promote safe speeds on their streets for everyone, not just children.

The RoadWise stall was set up next to the Department of Transport display so there were a lot of questions and discussions about road rules.

Grandparents also took interest in the Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitting Service for their younger grandchildren and the ongoing 'M8 the Call Can W8' campaign aimed at lowering driver distraction for their older grandchildren.
