The WALGA RoadWise Road Safety Week Resource Kit has been updated for 2020 and is now available for download from the RoadWise website.

The Kit is a quick resource for Local Governments and members of the road safety network interested in planning an activity or launching/promoting a long term local road safety initiative as part of National Road Safety Week during May.

Including background information, links for more information and communications templates, the Kit aims to support local action and may assist those groups or organisations applying for funding through the Government of Western Australia Road Safety Community Grants for Road Safety Week.

The Road Safety Commission has opened applications for Local Governments, schools, service clubs, RoadWise Committees and community organisations to apply for a specialised grant round that provides funding up to $5000 each, to encourage the Western Australian community to participate and hold an event during National Road Safety Week. Applications close on Friday, 31 January

National Road Safety Week runs from 3-10 May.
