Stirling Road Safety Advisory Group Meeting in New Ways

Posted on: Tuesday, 26 May 2020 at 12:00:00 AM

The City of Stirling Road Safety Advisory Group meeting went ahead as planned this month via video conference.

Although very different to the regular meetings, the new video conference was a great way to catch up and discuss road safety during the current COVID-19 restrictions.

The group has also had some significant membership changes, welcoming new community members as well as some new City of Stirling staff members. These fresh faces have brought new focus areas and opportunities to target local road safety issues.

The main focus for the meeting was to commence the review the Advisory Group's Road Safety Action Plan and look at new ways the City and the Group can work towards achieving zero deaths and serious injuries on the local road network.

With an interesting year ahead, it will be exciting to see some new road safety initiatives and programs roll out as part of the updated action plan.
