Kalgoorlie-Boulder Residents Reminded to Stop, Rest, Survive

After weeks of staying at home due to restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, Kalgoorlie-Boulder has been enjoying a return to camping and exploring in the region.

The Kalgoorlie-Boulder RoadWise Committee has been actively promoting the 'Stop, Rest, Survive' campaign using social media.

The campaign reminded people to take it easy on the roads, be patient and respect others (and themselves). Drivers were also reminded to get a good sleep before hitting the road, swap drivers during their journey and take rest breaks at least every two hours.

This project received funding through the Government of Western Australia's Road Safety Community Grants Program.
