Welcome: Jo, Viv, Beki and Philip

Jo Malcolm joins us in the new Road Safety Systems Specialist position. In this new role, Jo will use her extensive Local Government experience, particularly in the development of Public Health Plans, to engage and support Local Government to adopt and apply road safety management systems and processes.

Beki Bampton, our new Project Officer, has joined us from the Road Safety Commission where she held the position of policy officer. Prior to that, Beki completed a Bachelor of Health Science degree and is also a qualified Type 1 Child Car Restraint Fitter.

New Regional Road Safety Advisor, Philip Taylor joins us from Westcycle where he held the position of General Manager Urban Mobility. Prior to that Philip was at the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council for five years. Phil holds a Masters degree in Public Health and completed the Executive Road Safety Leadership Program in 2019.

Vivienne Gardiner joins us as a Regional Road Safety Advisor from the WA Primary Health Alliance where she worked with the City of Albany to develop an Aged Friendly Charter. She has a background working with the WA Primary Health Alliance and with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, in several roles including community engagement and bush fire risk management.
