Blessing of the Roads
The Shire organises a Blessing of the Roads ceremony for the community and emergency services prior to Easter each year. During the ceremony the emergency services personnel are recognised for their efforts in reducing road trauma.
For other community members the ceremony serves as a reminder of the need to exercise courtesy, care and common sense when travelling on our roads at all times, including over the busy Easter weekend.
Visit the Blessing of the Roads campaign page to find out more.

Road Ribbons for Road Safety
The Shire is an active participant in the Christmas campaign, Road Ribbons for Road Safety. The annual campaign is launched on the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims in November and runs over the Christmas and New Year period and into January.
Free ribbons and displays can be found at various places in both Broomehill and Tambellup such as the Shire offices and the schools.
Visit the Road Ribbons for Road Safety campaign page to find out more.
