Shire of Kojonup

The Shire of Kojonup is located approximately 250 kilometres south east of Perth and 180 kilometres north of Albany. The Shire covers an area of 2,932 square kilometres with a population of approximately 2000 people.  

While agriculture is still the key industry in Kojonup, tourism related to the areas rich Aboriginal and military history is developing in the area.

Projects / Initiatives

The Kodja Place Visitor & Interpretive Centre on the Albany Highway in the middle of Kojonup is a registered Coffee Stop where drivers can receive a free coffee to help them manage fatigue on their journney from Perth to Albany.
