March 2019 - Drivers Stop to Revive with Driver Reviver
The Plantagenet and Cranbrook RoadWise Committees have teamed up to organise a Driver Reviver on selected long weekends throughout the year. The aim of this initiative is to reduce fatigue related crashes by encouraging travellers to take regular breaks on their journey.
The site is located approximately 320km south of Perth on the Albany Highway. Operating hours for this site and details of other sites in WA can be found on the Driver Reviver page.

Blessing of the Roads
The Shire organises a Blessing of the Roads ceremony for the community and emergency services prior to Easter.
During the ceremony, emergency services personnel are recognised for their efforts in reducing road trauma. For other community members, the ceremony serves as a reminder of the need to exercise courtesy, care and common sense when travelling on our roads at all times, including over the busy Easter weekend.
Visit the Blessing of the Roads campaign page to find out more.
Road Ribbons for Road Safety
The Shire is an active participant in the Christmas campaign, Road Ribbons for Road Safety.
