Driver Reviver

Wanneroo Driver Reviver site is located 38kms north of Wanneroo on Indian Ocean Drive, Gingin. Volunteers have been running the site for more than 10 years. The caravan can often be seen at road safety community events within the City of Wanneroo such as the Wanneroo Show and Blessing of the Roads. Funding from the Community Road Safety Grants Program successfully provided a custom built caravan in January 2009 and the caravan continues to offer a chance for drivers to stop and revive during long drives.

Blessing of the Roads

The Blessing of the Roads campaign runs annually and aims to remember those who have been killed in road crashes, recognise those who work in reducing road trauma and remind all road users to be safe on the roads.

Caravan/trailer checks

Started due to a frightening amount of incidents involving caravans, these checks are run once a year at the City of Wanneroo’s Ashby depot. With the help of the RAC, Department of Transport and others, this event has become a vital component in the City of Wanneroo’s contribution to safer vehicles.
