Road Safety Action Plan
The City of Rockingham’s Road Safety Action Plan aims to work towards zero deaths and serious injury crashes within the City. The plan outlines educational initiatives and engineering solutions that will address road safety issues on the road network.
Safe Travel to School
The Committee works with local schools to raise the awareness and knowledge of students and parents on travelling to school safely.
Raising awareness of road safety
The committee works to raise awareness of road safety through a variety of means including attending events such as the Rockingham Spring Fair and Rockingham Community Expo. The City of Rockingham also supported the Road Ribbon for Road Safety campaign through media articles and distribution of road ribbons.
