Bridgetown Mystery Tour - Educating Young Drivers
The committee coordinates a ‘Mystery Tour of Life’ for Bridgetown and Boyup Brook High School students. This involves education of risk taking behaviour, and the potential road trauma consequences that may arise from these decisions. Students are taken on a tour of a simulated crash with Police, St John Ambulance and Fire & Rescue Service personnel demonstrating their roles in a road crash situation, and then follow on to the emergency room and morgue at the Bridgetown Hospital. The tour is finished with a presentation from guest speakers whose lives have been affected by road trauma.
