Meeting Dates

The Toodyay RoadWise Committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month at Toodyay Junction.


The Toodyay RoadWise Committee is currently working on motorcycle safety, pedestrian/heavy haulage issues and a Slow Down Enjoy the Ride campaign. The Committee has also been very proactive in advocating for improvements to Toodyay Road.

The Committee is also involved in the #AvonLocalsDrivingChange campaign, which uses local people to help raise awareness of a variety of local road safety issues.

Safer Toodyay website

SaferToodyay is the Toodyay community's link to local, state and federal agencies dealing with matters of safety and crime prevention. SaferToodyay provides a community forum and action platform for planning, implementing, and managing safety and crime prevention initiatives. Association members include representatives from the Shire of Toodyay, the Toodyay Police, the Toodyay District High School, and the Toodyay Bendigo Community Bank. The Toodyay RoadWise initiative initiative is a subcommittee.

The Shire of Toodyay run events and activities in the area that include the Gopher Muster, Moondyne Festival, Toodyay Show and Picnic Races.
