Targeted Enforcement Signs

The Local Area Targeted Enforcement Signs (LATES) project aims to jointly focus road safety agencies to target specific issues in a local area.

A variety of targeted offences can be added to these signs matching enforcement activity with community-based road safety activities.

These signs increase publicity related to enforcement and the road user behaviours including seatbelt and restraint use, drink driving, speeding. unsafe vehicles, fatigue and overtaking.
