Coral Bay Visitors Get a Road Safety Reminder

The Carnarvon RoadWise Committee has wasted no time in using their new road safety crash trailer to remind road users to take care.

The Committee organised for the trailer to be stationed at the beautiful and popular Coral Bay during the latter part of the school holidays last month.

The trailer was a visual reminder for locals, visitors and those passing through the area to use the roads safely. This complemented the Committee’s other strategies to help improve road safety during the school holidays, including a five-week local Road Ribbon for Road Safety® campaign which focused on driver distraction, safe vehicles, fatigue, drink driving and speeding.

The road safety crash trailer will continue to be seen in different locations around the region as one of the resources the Committee uses to improve road safety.
