RoadWise Committees

RoadWise or road safety committees are formed through partnerships to address road safety issues at a community level across WA. They facilitate collaboration and coordination of effort and support for agencies and other stakeholders.

Committees provide a forum where local issues are discussed, and community-based road safety campaigns can be developed and delivered to address those issues.

These committees enhance the local coordination of road safety activities. They encourage the idea of shared responsibility on our roads and intervention from the wider community.

Committees are encouraged to develop road safety action plans which present priority actions and complementary measures that will be undertaken to achieve local road safety objectives aligned to the Driving Change, Road Safety Strategy for WA 2020-2030.
