The Australasian College of Road Safety is launching a network for Local Government Road Safety Practitioners, starting with a webinar exploring and recognising road safety strategic planning.
The webinar will provide a chance to:
- Hear about road safety strategic plans from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.
- Compare and contrast how the plans were developed, what they cover and keys for success.
- Understand why road safety strategic planning is an important council function.
- Discuss how the Local Council Network will be run.
- Hear speakers from Gold Coast City Council, Eurobodalla Shire Council, Mornington Peninsula Shire Council and Western Australia Local Government Association.
The webinar will also discuss the formation of the Local Government Road Safety Practitioners network.
