City of Swan Crash Trailer Reminds Whiteman Park Visitors to Drive Safely

Whitman Park hosted the City of Swan crash trailer over the busy school holiday period, showing the potential impacts of road crashes.

Speed is a contributing factor in 34 per cent of all road fatalities and accounted for 221 serious injuries in 2016.1

Speed affects not only the chance of a crash occurring but also the severity of the crash. Speed limits are there to keep all road users safe, the faster you go the longer it takes to stop and the harder the impact.

The City of Swan displayed the crash trailer at the Motor Museum at Whiteman Park to remind visitors to slow down and enjoy the ride.
