The Grove Library Asks for Road Safety Tips
Posted on: Tuesday, 21 May 2019 at 12:00:00 AM
A display set up at the Grove Library over Easter and the school holidays reminded community members to drive safely when hitting the road. The combination of Easter, ANZAC day and the school holidays provided a great opportunity for many to get away.
The display provided information on fatigue and safe vehicles and also provided some interactive activities for community members to learn more about road safety.
One activity called for the community to provide road safety tips and how they will help work towards zero. Some great tips were provided including:
- “Allow plenty of time for your journey, so no need to rush”
- “Take a break every 2 hours”
- “Don’t be distracted by others in the car”
