Marketing Road Safety in Carnarvon

The Gascoyne Growers’ Market is the place to be on a Saturday morning in Carnarvon.
From May to October, locals and visitors alike descend on the town centre to sample and purchase local produce. This year they can also get to know more about the Carnarvon RoadWise Committee and learn how to stay safe on the region’s roads.
As part of its new action plan, members of the Carnarvon RoadWise Committee will be attending the markets every two weeks, highlighting a different road safety topic, providing information, answering questions and giving people the opportunity to test their road safety knowledge.
The markets provide a great opportunity to promote some of the other activities and projects the Committee is involved with including Driver Reviver, the Towing in WA Project, travel speed project and road safety awareness.
